As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact people across the globe, we want to ensure our Models and performers that we stand by them no matter where they’re living and continue to support our Pornhub community now more than ever. So to help the talent and crew in the industry who are directly impacted by the pandemic and are currently unable to work, Pornhub is donating $10,000 to the Free Speech Coalition (FSC) Emergency Fund that will go toward alleviating some of the financial strain during this difficult time. We’ll also be matching any donations made to FSC of up to $20,000.
"We're grateful to Pornhub for this contribution to help support adult industry talent and crew during this crisis. Their donation will help workers pay bills, buy groceries, and afford medication during these incredibly stressful times,” said Michelle L. LeBlanc, Executive Director, Free Speech Coalition. “We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity from those in our community, and I know we'll see more in the coming weeks.”
Anyone who is eligible and applies could get up to $300 from the FSC Emergency Fund to help pay for their rent, mortgage, loan payments, phone and internet bills, utilities, prescriptions, child care, groceries, gas, and all other reasonable expenses. As this pandemic goes on, we are continuously working on projects to help those affected and have contributed to the following relief efforts:
- 15,000 surgical masks to protect first responders from the Local 2507 of New York City, which represents emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics and fire inspectors of the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY).
- 15,000 surgical masks to the Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA) Local 94 of New York City to protect first responders.
- 20,000 surgical masks to Mount Sinai South Nassau to bolster the safety of nurses, physicians and support staff caring for COVID-19 patients.
- €50,000 to various European organizations to purchase additional masks and medical equipment, including Dein Quarantäne Engel / Deutsches Rotes Kreuzin Germany, Croce Verde di Vicenza in Italy, España vs Coronavirus. Mascarillas AQUÍ AHORA and Material Sanitario para Hospitales Públicos ESPAÑA in Spain.
- $25,000 to Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP), contributing directly to sex worker relief funds in the SWOP-USA network to meet immediate requests for support from sex workers impacted by COVID-19.
- Pornhub is giving Models 85% payout on all for-sale and pay-to-download videos on Pornhub and Modelhub the entire month of April.
